About Me

I'm a health services epidemiologist with about 10 years experience in studying patterns of injury and health care use among civilians and military populations. Currently I'm working on large cohort data, looking at care patterns and pathways, predictors of visits, misdiagnoses and such fun stuff. I also spend some time modeling the impact of state policies on injuries among teens , the elderly and military.

These days I often find myself at the intersection of data management and data science whipping EHR, billing, HR data into shape for inferential statistics and modeling. Some days are better than others!

I like a few things, like Home Depot, the best place to get chat-up paint. I also participate in the DC startup, big data and data viz groups.
